I thought this video was extraordinary. He was able to do so many unique things with technology. I thought it was interesting how he was able to use sticky notes in his computer. He would write something on the note, and the text would be translated to the computer screen. I also found it amazing how he was able to make a map of different objects. He set objects on a screen and they were scanned by the computer. I also enjoyed watching his photo taking technique. He took "photos" with his fingers and they were uploaded to the computer. One more thing I found interesting was how he was able to copy public documents faster. He did this by pinching screens and dropping them on a different computer. Some problems with this might be people accidently scanning objects into computers. These objects may include credit cards or other important documents that they do not want the computer to have.

1/14/15 Favorite App

My favorite app would have to be SoundCloud. SoundCloud is a fast and unique way to explore new music and share your favorite songs and playlists on a public profile. You are able to create your own page that consists of a username, header photo, and different lists of likes, posts, and playlists of songs. SoundCloud is unique because not only can you create playlists and post songs, but you can also browse other peoples' profiles. I think it's fun to see what songs my friends are posting and liking. SoundCloud reminds me very much of Twitter, only in music version. Another cool thing about the app is that it consists of remixes that most other music apps don't have. If you're looking for a fun way to post new songs and see what songs others are interested in, I suggest you check out SoundCloud here.

1/12/15 Collusions

The speaker was concerned about the tracking because he believes that everyone deserves privacy. The trackers are studying our habits and interests by observing our information. Tracking could be a good way to find new websites that people may be interested in checking out, but it is also a violation of our privacy. People may not want unknown websites searching through their actions on the internet. I was surprised at how quickly the red and gray dots appeared on the screen. Several sites popped up for each blue dot. I think there would be hundreds of dots appearing for me because I am very active on many social media websites (Twitter, Instagram, Vine, etc.) I also use several different websites for school research projects.
